Say hello to Joey Fedel, our newest Business Development Representative!

Local government has mattered to Joey for a long time. He grew up surrounded by people dedicating their lives to the public sector and partnered with two volunteer orgs working closely with the local government in his hometown of Ouray, CO.

After spending the last few years working in the security industry, Joey knew it was time to return to his roots: creating real impact for local governments. We’re so lucky that he chose to do so with Holly!

We sat down with Joey to learn more about his background, his new role at Holly, and his favorite Slack reaction.

What drew you to Holly?

My family and close family friends have been involved in local government for most of their careers. I grew up volunteering locally in Ouray and have been part of two committees: Beautification of Ouray and Friends of the Hot Springs where I partnered with local government officials to enhance the appeal and economic well being of the City of Ouray.

What drew you to being a BDR?

I have extensive business development experience and have thrived in early stage start-ups for most of my career. Holly is not only an early stage start up but they're solving a problem that is near and dear to me.

What are you most excited about in your future at Holly?

Learning from local officials within larger communities. I was always fascinated with local government and only got a taste of it early in my career. I want to broaden my understanding and help as many local governments as possible!

What’s something about your background that would surprise people?

I'm an avid car guy. On the weekends, I find pleasure in detailing and paint correcting vehicles!

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Fishing, weightlifting, and dirt biking in the San Juan mountains!

What three material objects could you not live without?

I can't live without my airpods, my pickup, and my glass water bottle!
