Our Story
Brendan Hellweg and Cherie Chung met as graduate students at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. Over time, they became united by a shared mission to help government agencies recruit and obtain their best talent.
During their time at Harvard, they realized artificial intelligence could solve government HR's most persistent challenges: the impossibility of manually analyzing thousands of job classifications, the months-long delays in benchmarking and board presentations, the endless cycle of consultant dependencies.

Our Mission

We envision a future where:
Government is fully staffed, well-equipped, and effective
HR professionals can focus on serving people, not managing paperwork
The most talented workers choose careers in public service

How We Work
We reject the "back office" mindset
HR isn't administrative overhead—it's how government competes for talent and delivers on its promises to communities. We build technology that reflects this reality, with the utmost respect and empathy for the heroes we serve.
We obsess over data
Everything we build starts with a question: what data could make this better? Our team is packed with people from data backgrounds because we believe every feature—from a simple dropdown to a complex analysis—should be informed by rigorous intelligence. We're constantly hunting for new datasets, validating sources, and finding patterns that make your decisions smarter and more defensible.
We build with users, not for them
We ship early, gather feedback fast, and iterate constantly. Weekly office hours, onsite visits, same-day responses—we're in the trenches with government HR teams, learning what works and what doesn't. The platform you see today is shaped by hundreds of real conversations, not conference room assumptions.
We move fast
We ship new features and improvements every week. When you need something, we build it—often within days. Because government can't wait months for the tools it needs.
Join Us
We're looking for people who believe public servants deserve world-class technology and want to help build it.
Business Development Representative
Be our first BDR and own the front lines of selling to local government. You'll identify prospects, run multi-channel outreach campaigns, and book meetings with city and county HR leaders—while learning to leverage AI as a force-multiplier in your daily work. We'll mentor you on both world-class sales craft and modern AI tools for prospecting and automation. If you want to build a sales playbook from scratch, develop cutting-edge GTM skills, and help modernize public service—we'd love to meet you.
Senior Software Engineer
Join us as our second engineer to build the infrastructure powering the future of government hiring. You'll architect data pipelines processing millions of job records, ship AI-powered features to thousands of users across the country, and own significant technical decisions that will shape our platform for years to come. We're a small, fast-moving team, working on a problem that affects millions of Americans trying to enter public service. If you want massive ownership, real technical challenges, and the chance to prove that government software can actually be delightful—we'd love to meet you.
We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work on technology that helps millions of Americans access public service careers.
