Welcome Adeel Zahid: Leveraging Human Skills for Tech Success

Our newest Senior Product Deployment Strategist is a people person. Tech is just how he helps them.

Say hello to our new Senior Product Deployment Strategist, Adeel Zahid!

‍

Adeel joins Holly to strengthen the relationship between product and person, allowing our clients to leverage Holly to its fullest potential. He’s long-served as the glue between customers and the people building things to serve them. We sat down with Adeel to chat about his people-first approach to deployment and why he thinks his job is best characterized a beef Wellington.

‍

What drew you to working for Holly?

The Mission – solving complex public sector workforce issues by leveraging the best technology has to offer. The People – instant draw! The Industry – vast, unflagged green-field and potential to scale and standardize.

‍

What drew you to your specific role?

‍

Building the next-gen labor costing program that takes complexity out of collective bargaining.

‍

What’s something about your background that might surprise people?

‍

I assembled (and fried, all by myself) my first PC in 1997 at age 11.

‍

What are you most excited about in your time at Holly?

‍

In person collaboration with the team as well as meeting clients on-site. Physical presence holds measurable value with public sector agencies and it's reassuring that Holly makes this a priority.

‍

If your job at Holly was a meal, what would it be?

‍

Beef Wellington – challenging to make, even harder to perfect. Requires patience but hugely rewarding.

‍

What’s your favorite slack reaction?

‍

The face I make after noticing the number of channels & threads/sub threads. Or the thumbs up.

‍

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Contemplating what to make my kids for lunch the next day, watching automotive content (yes, car reviews) and browsing watch catalogues.

‍

Adeel, we’re lucky to have you on board.
