We're proud to announce a new partnership with the City of Lomita—from demo to signed in just nine days, a collaboration built on speed and shared ambition.

We're proud to announce a new partnership with the City of Lomita, a collaboration that came together quickly and promises to move even faster. From our first conversation to a signed agreement in under six weeks - nine days from demo to signature, with CALPELRA right in the middle - Lomita showed the kind of momentum we love to match. The city sits just next door to one of our earliest customers in Long Beach, making this a uniquely local win for our team. It's a 30-minute drive for Max, instead of a cross-country flight, and a chance to be hands-on with the platform as the work unfolds. Susan's team is moving decisively to modernize and to compete in a tight public-sector labor market, and we're excited to meet that urgency with the same energy.
Said Susan Kamada, Administrative Services Director of Lomita:
We signed up for Holly because we needed a more intuitive, AI-native way to find and analyze compensation data. With a small HR team, we wanted to spend less time clicking through systems and more time making informed decisions - and Holly gives us an easier, faster way to keep our class and comp data current without having to redo a full study every few years.
Lomita is part of Los Angeles County, serving a community of nearly 21,000 residents across 1.9 square miles. The city's workforce supports public safety, parks and recreation, public works, and community development services. Within the broader county context of nearly 9.8 million residents across 88 cities, Lomita is focused on building resilient, efficient HR operations that scale with demand.
Holly is helping the team modernize classification, compensation, and HR workflows end-to-end—and we can't wait to build together!
