Summer at Holly: Welcome Jack and Olivia!

We're incredibly grateful to have Jack and Olivia joining Holly as summer interns! 🎉

Jack and Olivia bring exactly the kind of energy and expertise we need. Jack brings a background in emerging technologies and cybersecurity, while Olivia brings experience in workforce development and social innovation. Their shared commitment to strengthening government from the inside out makes them perfect additions to our team.

Jack Conlin

Program: MPP at Harvard Kennedy School

Tell Us About Yourself: Hi! I’m Jack, a first-year graduate student at the Kennedy School, and I’m excited to be with Holly this summer. I am very interested in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and passionate about delivering solutions that leverage these technologies to those who can benefit from them most. I also focus on the intersection of technology, government, and industry, which is exactly where I find myself with Holly. I previously worked in cybersecurity and for a science education nonprofit here in New York.

Past Experience: Darktrace, World Science Festival

Why Holly: I believe deeply that empowering our local governments and leaders is a civic necessity, and Holly’s aim to make the public sector more accessible by leveraging cutting-edge technology resonates deeply with me. I’m also keen to use this opportunity to learn more about product development at an early-stage venture.

What I’m Working On At Holly: I’m excited for the chance to work with our product team in developing and deploying Holly’s platform and roadmap. I’ll also help spearhead our customer success operations to ensure our customers can fully leverage the unique capabilities and analysis that Holly brings to bear.

Olivia Ott

Program: MBA / MPP at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School

Tell Us About Yourself: Hello! I’m Olivia, a second-year graduate student in a joint master’s degree program between Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. I’m passionate about workforce development and social innovation, and believe that the public, private, and nonprofit sectors each have a critical role to play in addressing the world’s most complex challenges, which is why I’m pursuing a joint degree. I previously worked in consulting and for an education nonprofit, and I’m thrilled to be at Holly this summer!

Why Holly: As someone who believes that people are everything, Holly’s mission to empower millions of Americans to pursue meaningful careers in public service deeply resonates with me. I am also excited to learn more about how start-ups can effectively partner with governments to drive social impact, which Holly is doing every day!

What I’m Working On At Holly: I’m excited to support the development and execution of Holly’s go-to-market strategy and work cross-functionally with the product and engineering teams to align business strategy with product development this summer!
